Magellanic Cloud Secures RailTel Mandate, Expands Surveillance Footprint Beyond Railways

Magellanic Cloud Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from RailTel Corporation of India Limited for the deployment of CCTV surveillance infrastructure.
The project, valued at ₹1.55 crore, involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV surveillance systems for a RailTel customer environment within an engineering college campus.
The deployment includes cameras, network switches, NVRs, display systems, racks, UPS, storage devices, and complete supporting infrastructure, along with system integration and commissioning. The project also carries a 3-year warranty, ensuring long-term operational reliability and performance.
Execution is expected to be completed within one month from commencement or issuance of the formal ERP purchase order, as per LoI terms.
Strategic Significance
This order marks a strategic expansion of Provigil’s surveillance capabilities beyond core railway infrastructure into institutional and enterprise environments, while continuing to leverage its expertise in public-sector, high-reliability deployments.
It further strengthens the Company’s positioning in the critical infrastructure and smart surveillance ecosystem, complementing its strong momentum across Indian Railways.
