Magellanic Cloud Announces ₹100 crore Partnership with XTEND and Rayonix to Manufacture UAVs in India

Hyderabad, India (29th April,2026) – Magellanic Cloud Limited (NSE: MCLOUD), a leading technology and defense solutions provider, announced a strategic joint venture with Israel-based XTEND and Rayonix Tech to establish advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing capabilities in India.
The collaboration represents a significant step toward strengthening India’s indigenous defense manufacturing ecosystem, with a planned investment of approximately USD 11 million (~₹100 crore).
The joint venture will focus on setting up local capabilities across manufacturing, testing, and distribution of next-generation UAV platforms. These solutions are designed to address the evolving operational needs of India’s defense and security forces, particularly in areas such as surveillance, reconnaissance, and tactical operations.
Under the agreement, Magellanic Cloud Limited will serve as the exclusive manufacturing and distribution partner for XTEND platforms in India, ensuring seamless deployment and localized scalability of cutting-edge drone technologies.
This partnership combines XTEND’s globally recognized expertise in advanced UAV systems with Magellanic Cloud’s strong execution capabilities and domestic market reach. Rayonix Tech will play a key role in enabling technology integration and operational execution.
Strategic Significance
This collaboration aligns with India’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives, reinforcing domestic production capabilities in high-impact defense technologies while reducing dependency on imports.
