Magellanic Cloud Subsidiary Secures ₹3.59 Crore Railway Surveillance Project from South-Western Railway

Hyderabad, May 11, 2026 – Magellanic Cloud Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South-Western Railway, Bengaluru Division, for an aggregate project value of approximately ₹3.59 Crore.
The project involves the replacement and additional provision of advanced CCTV surveillance systems at Mysuru Railway Station under South-Western Railway. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of comprehensive AI-enabled surveillance infrastructure designed to strengthen operational visibility and security across the railway environment.
The deployment will comprise advanced surveillance technologies, including Video Management Systems (VMS), Video Analytics Systems (VAS), Face Recognition System (FRS) integration, PTZ/Bullet/Dome/4K UHD cameras, video analytics servers, storage systems, networking infrastructure, UPS systems, and centralized monitoring infrastructure with failover architecture.
As railway infrastructure across India continues to modernize, intelligent surveillance systems are increasingly becoming a critical component of connected and data-driven transportation ecosystems. AI-powered e-surveillance solutions are enabling railway authorities to move beyond conventional monitoring toward proactive operational intelligence by improving crowd and asset monitoring, strengthening perimeter security, minimizing operational blind spots, and enabling faster decision-making across large transit and logistics networks.
